Some of the best independent businesses in Wiltshire have been recognised after scooping top prizes in a hotly contested competition.

Twenty one different businesses and venues from around Wiltshire have come out on top in the annual Muddy Stilettos Regional Awards.

The winners were named the best in Wiltshire across a wide range of categories after being chosen from a long list of finalists.

Founder and editor-in-chief Hero Brown set up the awards 11 years ago.

He said: “It’s been an honour to showcase these most creative, innovative lifestyle businesses across Wiltshire, in partnership with our local sponsor Black Nova Designs and Tide banking nationally.

“The response to this year’s Muddy Awards has been incredible with thousands voting to support an amazing array of local businesses big and small.”

Now Wiltshire’s top businesses will face off against the winners from other counties in the 2024 national awards.

In total over 515,000 votes and nominations were cast nationally in the 11th edition of the awards, which are run by lifestyle website and magazine Muddy Stilettos.

The competition recognises the 'best of the best' from pubs and bars to salons and florists.

Muddy Stilettos says the yearly award's are a way for people to say thank you to their most loved independent shops.
