More than £16,000 in grants has been handed to projects for young people and community facilities by Warminster Area Board.
The Community Area Grants were awarded at a meeting in Maiden Bradley last week.
Three of the six projects awarded grants are for the benefit of young people.
Codford Youth Group was awarded £5,000 towards a new skate park and the 3rd Wiltshire BP Scouts were granted £500 for repairs to its Scout hut.
The board also granted a request of £825 from Warminster School Extended Partnership for a Year 6 Healthy Eating project, which will work with schools in the town to provide cookery lessons and information on nutrition to children.
Other grants included £5,000 to the Warminster Athenaeum Trust, to contribute to the cost of new lighting, and one to the St Lawrence Chapel, which received £4,852.50 to improve its community facilities.
