Trowbridge rail commuters' opinions sought
11:52am Monday 7th October 2013 in News
British Transport Police will be holding a drop-in surgery at Trowbridge Train Station between 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday.
The event will give the public an opportunity to raise any issues about rail police while officers will be giving crime prevention advice.
Police Community Support Officer Jon Gale said: “It is vital that local people who regularly use trains and stations are able to have their say on how they are policed. We want to listen to any ideas or concerns they may have, and then do something about them.
“I hope people can take the time to come and meet the team. Any issues which are raised are fed into our regular tasking meetings to discuss issues relating to safety and security at stations.”
For more information about the surgery please call PCSO Gale on 0117 305 4030 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
