Police have arrested a 19-year-old man from Havant on suspicion of carrying out a series of burglaries in Warminster.

He is currently in custody at Salisbury Police Station.

The series of burglaries occurred in Warminster last week, with Salisbury Priority Crime Team appealing for more information on Monday.

There were seven incidents at properties in the East Street, Bath Road, Boreham Fields and Woodman Mead areas of the town between last Wednesday and Thursday.

Item stolen included cash, electrical goods and jewellery.
