Police are warning parents to be vigilant after a 12-year-old girl was approached by a man near The Mead Primary School in Trowbridge last week who asked her to leave with him.
The incident occurred at 4.30pm last Friday on the cycle path near Leap Gate and the man is described as short, medium build, with short, brown hair, and is thought to be around 30 years old.
Trowbridge Police are looking into the incident, however, it is reported that the man’s behaviour indicates he may have learning difficulties.
They are urging people to report similar incidents immediately.
