The Friends of Grove School, Trowbridge, are holding a scarecrow hunt on Saturday to raise funds for the school, when 49 scarecrows will be on display around the school and on neighbouring streets.
Children at the school have dressed the scarecrows as cartoon animated characters, ranging from Snow White to the characters from the Disney film Cars, with local man Brian Park helping out by making more scarecrows.
Teacher Catherine Curtis, a teacher at the school, said: “It will be a great way to bring the community together.”
Entry is £2, with entry sheets and maps on sale in the school hall from 10am-4pm on Saturday.
Top prize for the person identifying the most scarecrows correctly is £50.
