Nurseries in Wiltshire are celebrating success at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
The Botanic Nursery in Atworth, which has entered the competition for many years, won its second ever gold for its display of foxgloves.
Terry Baker, who runs the nursery, said: “Winning gold is a great testimony to the number of people who have helped us.
“It takes up to 18 months – from sowing seeds to growing and developing, t o get the stand ready for the show, three days to set it up and only a few hours to dismantle everything.
“We are lucky to have lots of friends and relatives who make it possible.
Another Chelsea regular, Westdale Nurseries in Bradford on Avon, won a Silver Flora award for its display of bougainvilleas.
The National Association of Flower Arranging Societies, based in Bradford on Avon, also received a Silver Flora award.
