Bradford on Avon Beavers were busy planting away at Wiltshire Heights Care Home on Tuesday as part of Scout Community Week.
Twenty two members created a flower bed of edible plants, including marigolds and nasturtiums, after planting the seeds in a pot several weeks ago and nurturing them at home.
Sarah Howe, assistant Beaver leader, said: “Some found the weeding a bit tiresome, but once they got into the planting they were very interested and did a good job.
“We’re always looking for community things we can do and there is a need for more beaver leaders.”
