Family's appeal after pet dog Conker flees Westbury garden

Wiltshire Times: Have you seen Conker, a Beagle which has gone missing in Westbury? Have you seen Conker, a Beagle which has gone missing in Westbury?

A family is upset after their tan, black and white male Beagle dog, who answers to the name Conker, went missing yesterday at about 2.30pm.

Brenda Richards, of Brook Lane, Westbury, is the mother of the dog’s owner, Jane Richards.

Mrs Richards said: “He visited with my daughter from Salisbury.

“He seemed to be having some sort of fit in the garden and suddenly recovered and ran out of the garden, frightened and confused.”

In the evening he was seen near the railway line at Dilton Marsh and also in the West Ashton area later, during the night.

He is wearing black collar with an identity tag.

If anyone has seen Conker they should contact Jane Richards on 07973 701 084 or Charlotte Amos on 07909 694 267.

Glad to hear a happy ending to this story as we know that when a dog goes missing we imagine all kinds of things that could have happened, if as you say he she had a fit and ran off get the vet to check for mild strokes my dog had one and flipped up and started to behave like a puppy full of zest but he was 14 so it was a warning sign, but a few days later he was back to his older self, sadly few months later he passed away but he had a brilliant life getting to the good old age of 14 years and 3months for a chocolare brown Labrador he was a millinum puppy born march 1st 2000 over at Foxham and i miss him so much even though i have 3 other dogs they all mean so much to me and its a honor to be able to have dogs in my life that are so Faithfull to me
