Accountant Old Mill has raised £8,986 for Yeovil based charity School in a Bag by cycling to all five of itsoffices.

The total surpassed the original target of £2,500 and is enough to fund almost 700 school bags.

Twenty one staff from Old Mill took on the 140 mile challenge over two days, which started at the Melksham office, before visiting Wells, Yeovil, Dorchester and Exeter office.

David Rice, a financial planner from the Yeovil office who organised the event, said: “We received fantastic welcomes from all of our colleagues in the offices we visited. They provided excellent hospitality and it was a real tonic to see everyone when we arrived at each office.”
