A SEVENTH win on the bounce and a ten-match unbeaten run have given Clive Black’s White Horse A side a real chance of finishing as Division One runners.

With games against Corsham CC Wildcats, Somerford and Kings Arms still to come, White Horse remain in the hunt for some silverware after they beat Bromham 5-2.

For the Westbury-based side, it was sweet revenge as Danny Powell’s side had beaten them 3-2 on the opening day of the season.

Jordan Gullis broke the deadlock for the White Horse only for Freddie Paget to level for Bromham.

Paul Beavers got a lucky deflection as he regained the lead for the White Horse, but once again Bromham fought back to square things up with Lewis Taylor finding the target to take the teams in the break locked together at two apiece.

After the break White Horse took full advantage of the slope at Littlemarsh as they hit three unanswered goals to claim the points, Tom Crawford, Dale Rowland and a second from Paul Beavers wrapped up victory number nine of the season for the White Horse men.
