SCRUM-HALF Martin Roberts has left Bath to join Ospreys, the Aviva Premiership club confirmed this morning.
The 28-year-old returns to the Swansea-based regional side for whom he made his professional debut in 2005.
Wales international Roberts joined Bath from Northampton Saints ahead of the 2013/14 season.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time at Bath, but after playing for three years in the Aviva Premiership I feel that now is the right time for me to return to Wales,” said Roberts.
"I am from Glyn Neath and the Ospreys is my home region so I am very excited about going back there. I won’t be going too far, though, so I look forward to staying in touch with many of the great people I’ve met here at the club.”
Bath head coach Mike Ford added: “Martin’s a dynamic player and he has always given his all for Bath during his time here. We all wish him the best of luck at Ospreys.”
