Notice advertising proposals for Temporary Works on WOOLLEY GREEN COMMON, Near Bradford on Avon.
Wessex Water has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Woolley Green Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The works are for the replacement of a lead water pipe with a new polyethylene pipe. This scheme is an essential upgrade to an existing service to residential property in Woolley Green area. The works are temporary and will require a 0.35m width x 1.2m depth open cut trench to be dug. The area of works required will be 175 square metres (5m width x 35m long). The works will be fenced off for health & safety and site security purposes for the duration of the works. The excavation will be covered when not in use and will be back-filled once the new pipe is laid. The excavated ground will be re-seeded in the appropriate season following the works.

A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Bradford on Avon Town Council, St Margrefs Hall, Bradford On Avon, BA15 1DE and Bradford-on-Avon Library, Bridge Street, Bradford On Avon, BA15 1BY during normal office hours until date 18th September 2017.

Representations sent to the Planning Inspectorate cannot be treated, as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
