ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (CROCKERTON TO DEPTFORD) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (CROCKERTON TO DEPTFORD) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A36 trunk road from Crockerton to Deptford in the County of Wiltshire to allow resurfacing, road markings, loop cutting, surveys and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to take place over night (8pm - 6am) commencing on or after 19 January 2018 and be completed by 26 January 2018. The effect of the Order would be to:

(a) authorise the overnight closure of the A36 from Crockerton Roundabout to Deptford Junction;
(b) authorise the overnight closure of the A36 entry slip roads from the A303 at Deptford Junction;
(c) authorise the closure of the laybys adjacent to the above section of the A303.
(d) impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(e) impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(f) impose a 10 miles per hour speed limit while convoy working is taking place on the above length of the A36;

During the closure described at (a) above traffic would be diverted via the A303 and A350. Access to and from premises that are accessible from and only from the A36 would be maintained during the works. The closures (which would not apply to emergency service or works vehicles), speed limits and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works and would only apply when traffic management measures are in place. The Order would come into force on 17 January 2018 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. Ref: 004/18

THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (BRICKWORTH TO OWER)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A36 trunk road from Brickworth to Ower in the Counties of Wiltshire and Hampshire to allow resurfacing, road markings, loop cutting, surveys and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over night (8pm - 6am) commencing on or after 18 January 2018 and be completed by 27 March 2018. The effect of the Order would be to:

(a) authorise the overnight closure of the A36 from the A27 Brickworth Road Junction to Ower Roundabout;
(b) authorise the closure of the laybys adjacent to the above section of the A36.
(c) impose a temporary 50 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(d) impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(e) impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;
(f) impose a 10 miles per hour speed limit while convoy working is taking place on the above length of the A36;

During the closure described at (a) above traffic would be diverted via the A27 and A3090. Access to and from premises that are accessible from and only from the A36 would be maintained during the works. The closures (which would not apply to emergency service or works vehicles), speed limits and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works and would only apply when traffic management measures are in place. The Order would come into force on 16 January 2018 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. Ref: 006/18
