WITH the weather once again causing major disruptions to the Robson Taylor, Chippenham Sunday League fixture programme it was no surprise that the presstoprint-sponsored Eric Hughes Memorial Knockout Cup competition suffered, with only one of the six scheduled ties beating the rain. read more

KNOCKOUT CUP: With a number of big guns already out of this seasons presstoprint-sponsored Eric Hughes Memorial Knockout Cup, including last terms winners Corsham Centre, and other Premier Division sides Biddestone Social, Box Rovers, Maud Heath Sports, FC Colerne, North Star A, Semington Rovers and Winsley, this seasons competition is one of the most open for a number of years and there is a distinct possibility that a team from outside of the top flight could match the achievement of Parsons Nose who in 2006 lifted the cup while in division two. read more
