  • Christmas wish

ALL I want for Christmas is for the owners of the Rose and Crown, near the railway station in Trowbridge, to give the building a coat of paint. Thank you, Santa. read more

  • Care is needed

FOLLOWING the horrific crash at Wingfield, on the very next evening while travelling from Wingfield crossroads towards Trowbridge one car overtook us at the site of the accident, then as we approached the top of the hill another car overtook us, narrowly missing a car coming in the other direction. read more

  • 11am silence

WITH reference to Mr Ridley's response to my question as to why the whole of the community were not able to be together at the cenotaph on November 11 at 11am: as he stated 500 people, which included all local groups/old comrades and representatives of the armed forces were at St James', but there were approximately 80-100 people at the cenotaph and a further 40 plus outside St James' as the church was full. read more

  • Save our POs

WILTSHIRE County Council has sent out a promotional flyer to local businesses with the slogan "Do you really need a car to pick up a stamp?" read more
