I AM not surprised that the Wilts & Dorset bus company feels that the X4 service is underused. I certainly use it rarely these days, even though often I would like to use the bus rather than a car. read more
FOLLOWING the horrific crash at Wingfield, on the very next evening while travelling from Wingfield crossroads towards Trowbridge one car overtook us at the site of the accident, then as we approached the top of the hill another car overtook us, narrowly missing a car coming in the other direction. read more
WITH reference to Mr Ridley's response to my question as to why the whole of the community were not able to be together at the cenotaph on November 11 at 11am: as he stated 500 people, which included all local groups/old comrades and representatives of the armed forces were at St James', but there were approximately 80-100 people at the cenotaph and a further 40 plus outside St James' as the church was full. read more
