    I AM currently working in Bristol and due to the uncertainty and expense of public transport undertake my journey by road, involving journey times of 40-50 minutes outwards and at best just over the hour inwards - not unacceptable given the lack of motorways etc. read more

    IN defence of the two girls frightening people on a footpath on their horses (last week's Wiltshire Times): the bridle path at the top of Axe and Cleaver Lane was dug up by the electric company to lay cables last November, and has not been replaced so there is nowhere to walk the horses away from the traffic. read more
