I FULLY understand the problems that were generated for the council and their recyclers by the placing of inappropriate items (eg large cardboard pieces) in the green compost bins and that changes were essential. read more
I AGREED with everything Maria Smith said in her article on noise in the workplace (Wiltshire Times, March 16). Until, that is, I came to her suggestion that to help counter noise pollution music or ambient sounds' should be played. read more

AS A member of the Gasworks Action Group, I would like to take up the point that Cllr Viles raised (Listening to the Ombudsman) regarding the buildings now going up in Frome Road on the former Colour Development site. Like the gasworks, this project is yet another example of democracy not working. read more
