THOSE looking to give money to charity this Christmas can do so when they buy from a range of cards at the Corsham Tourist Information and Heritage Centre (TIC).
Last year the centre in High Street raised more than £11,000 for local causes Dorothy House and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance through sales of the cards and are hoping to raise even more this year.
The Cards for Good Causes range means 79p out of every £1 goes to charity.
The 2008 range, covering 31 charities, is now available from the centre and the volunteers in the shop will be giving up even more of their time in the run-up to Christmas.
Cheryl Gibbs, acting part-time manager at the centre, said: “Many of our volunteers support these charities themselves and by giving extra help they can see the benefit of the funds raised.”
