PERSIMMON Homes Wessex has donated £11,500 to Marie Curie Cancer Care after hosting its second annual ball for the charity.
Held at the De Vere Hotel in Swindon the spectacular annual ball was supported by an array of Persimmon Homes contractors who hosted sponsored tables and donated gifts towards the evening's auction and raffle.
Several entertainment acts kept guests amused throughout the event including a jazz duo, comedy waiters, plus two Grecian living statues' whose sudden movements surprised more than a couple of people.
"Our commitment to raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care has remained as enthusiastic as it began and we are delighted that the annual ball's final fundraising push raised so much money," said Steve Roche, managing director for Persimmon Homes Wessex.
Persimmon Homes Wessex is currently constructing new homes at 17 developments across the region. For further information call (01666) 824 721 or visit www.persimmonhomes.com to find your nearest development.
