Just the job at fair

| Marcus Deimert receives his champagne from Travail |
In order to fill the unexpected level of vacancies at the start of 2008, Travail has been prompted to increase local awareness to jobseekers.
Travail's three-day job fair in The Shires Shopping Centre, Trowbridge, in January attracted interest from candidates with a wide variety of skills and experience.
Several job interviews were set up with Travail's client organisations on each of the three days of the job fair and more are to follow.
Job seekers who registered for work were automatically entered into a draw to win a special bottle of champagne.
The winner was Marcus Deimert, who recently returned to Wiltshire College as a mature student, to retrain in vehicle maintenance. In order to financially support his partner and young family, Marcus has decided to transfer his training to evenings to enable him to find full-time employment.
Steve Oborne comments, "This is also an incentive for Travail. Marcus has promised to open the champagne when we find him a job."
