Job Fair News
Find your dream job
For the 12th successful year the Wiltshire Times will be hosting its Recruitment Exhibition on Thursday March 6 at the Civic Hall, Trowbridge, and once again it will provide a great opportunity for employers and job seekers alike.
The free event will be open from 11am until 6pm, and if you are looking for a new job or a complete career change then make sure you go along, armed with some copies of your CV.
Since the Wiltshire Times Job Fair started, thousands of people have attended to see what jobs and training opportunities are available in the area.
Companies who regularly exhibit at the fair are once again on hand to offer advice along with some new exhibitors. As well as large companies from the area, there will also be lots of recruitment agencies who can give you essential advice about finding the right job.
At the Fair you'll find lots of inspiration about different career paths that you might not have previously considered.
When visiting any of the stands at the Job Fair staff will chat to you about career opportunities. The Job Fair offers the opportunity for potential employers and employees to meet face-to-face in a relaxed environment before an official application for a job is made.
The last Wiltshire Times Job Fair took place in September and was a great success, with many people making career decisions or finding employment as a result of their visit.
Whether you are looking for your first job or considering a career change, or part-time work, the Job Fair could open the door for you.
At the Fair there will also be an opportunity to sign up to CVquest, an online headhunting tool which helps to match employers with candidates. See page 68 for more information about how CVquest can help you find your perfect job.
The Wiltshire Times Job Fair is open from 11am-6pm in the Civic Hall, Trowbridge, on Thursday March 6. Admission is free.
