Good start for Travail
Travail's start to 2008 so far belies the uncertainty surrounding the UK economy.
"It's been one of our best starts to a year in the whole of the 14 years we have been trading," said Steve Oborne, regional director.
"February has been one of our best months ever in terms of permanent placements.
"In December we anticipated a candidate shortage for January and decided to promote our vacancies on a stand in The Shires shopping centre.
"We were able to set up interviews with our clients and there were notable success stories."
After joining the business in September 2007, Mairi Connelly has successfully developed many new clients and the demand for job seekers to register is immense.
Rachael Clements has also experienced an increase in demand with many of Travail's established clients experiencing their own success.
The Trowbridge team recently attended a Travail Gala Awards evening in Windsor, pictured above, where the branch was congratulated on its success during 2007.
Mr Oborne said, "Our industry is predicting a healthy growth in permanent jobs over the next 12 months, which is good news for everyone."
