CHARLES Drew, 54, is chief executive of Melksham-based charity Amber. Since 1995 the charity has helped disadvantaged and unemployed young people get back into work.
Mr Drew grew up in Dunblane, Scotland. He is married and has an 18-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter.
How would your best friend describe you?
I think they enjoy my approachability. Loyalty is also important in my friendships.
Where would you recommend for a great day or evening out?
Stonehenge is a particular favourite of mine. There is certainly a mystical atmosphere about the place.
What do you do for fun?
I am a keen oil painter and guitarist. Reaching a semi-pro level on the guitar was a brilliant experience for me. Riding my motorbike would also come highly on my list.
Describe your most vivid dream?
This would have to be retiring back to the west coast of Scotland where I grew up. I have so many fond memories of the area and the stunning scenery.
Who in the public eye do you respect the most and why?
Richard Branson has achieved an awful lot in such a broad spectrum of business. Yet, he seems to balance an easy-going attitude with his drive to succeed.
What is your biggest regret?
As a semi-professional guitarist I would have loved to have gone on further and challenged myself. However I thoroughly enjoy playing in my spare time and learning new pieces now and again.
What is your favourite film or TV show and why?
Dragons Den is brilliant. The conviction shown by people wanting to get projects off the ground is very inspiring.
