Red Light GO
Bath-based Red Light GO are part of the new wave of electro indie. Their simple infectious pop songs are delivered with a rawness which captivates audiences and leaves them breathless.
Guitarist Mark Ireson provides edgy guitar riffs, which dance and grapple with Mark Trueman's Numan-esque soaring synths. Richie Jobson (bass) and Mat Mohangee (drums) are the driving rhythm section providing a strong platform, the bands sound is completed by the unique vocal tones of Andy Madison.
Showing a real pop sensibility in their song writing, they combine the best bits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s and produce a sound which is fresh and modern. The sound encompasses a number of genres; from pop to punk, indie to electro, rock to rave. The band have been likened to, amongst others, Depeche Mode, Joy Division and The Cure.
Red Light GO have just finished working on their debut album with up-and-coming producer Leo Nine, released by the band's own label Magic BOX Records. Visit www.redlightgo.co.uk for more information.
