Gig Guide
The Rusticles
NEW up-and-coming Bradford on Avon band The Rusticles are an exciting fusion of raw slide guitar, soaring vocals, funky bass lines and gipsy rhythms.
The band formed with a blast late last year with their first gig in the Moles Club Battle of the Bands competition. Little did they know they would fly through to the finals.
Since then the group, consisting of Joe Chowles (guitar and vocals), Will Southward (slide guitar and lead), Adam Newton (double bass) and Jake Chessman (drums) have gone from strength to strength.
Their individual flare, catchy melodies and rocking licks create an edgy new genre of pop music, and the band's members have previously played with successful bands like the Nots, the Speakeasy and Blackbud.
