Melksham-based Mobsta Promotions are continuing their partnership with The Old Bear in 2010, and plan to continue showcasing some of the best young musical talent in the county.
The promotions company aim to hold a gig at the pub in Staverton on the last Saturday of every month this year.
The first, on January 30, will feature the much-hyped Lauren Dobbin. The 13-year-old, pictured above with her new backing band, has just secured a management deal with a top London company.
Also on the bill will be the excellent Keli Shepherd, who will be performing some new original material as well as covers, and local rapper MC Liveo will be delivering his usual mix of serious rap messages and entertaining performance.
Tickets for gig, which will start at 7.30pm, are £3 adv or £4 on the door from the venue on 01225 782487 or Mobsta Promotions on 01225 705866.
Future Mobsta gigs at The Old Bear are on March 27, May 29 and July 31 and acts already booked include a session from Charlie Romijn, The Diversions, Daedalus’ Right Eye and local youngsters Erin Simpson, Jordan Whatley and Jade Harris.
