Rhythm and Booze, August 25-28, The Rising Sun, Bradford

The Rising sun in Winsley Road, Bradford on Avon, is hosting its fourth Rhythm and Booze festival from Friday, August 25 until Monday, August 28.

The Rhythm this year will be provided by a wide variety of live acts and a selection of award winning real ales and traditional ciders in addition to the pub's usual fine range will also be on offer.

Fundraising will continue all weekend in aid of Dorothy House and local football club, St Andrews FC, will provide a daily barbecue.

The line-up is as follows: Friday, August 25 9pm: Mangled Wurzels Adge Cutler would be flattered by this tribute - Hedge Cutter, Seth Pitt and Jethro Tool produce an authentic Wurzel sound and vision experience .

Saturday, August 26 9pm: Funkensteins This tight funky trio will blow you away with their unmistakable vocal sound and brilliantly knitted rhythms.

Sunday, August 27 3pm: Pete Gage (ex Dr Feelgood) and Paul Hartshorn Superb blues/R&B from Pete on keyboard and Paul's breathtaking guitar.

5pm: Bob Garrett Highly entertaining singer/songwriter and acoustic jukebox 9pm: Steve Payne and Steve Loudoun front this fantastic country/blues combo - appearing for the first time at the Festival.

Monday, August 28 2.30pm: For regular visitors to the R&B Festival, Forbes, Marko and co need no introduction. Join in the singing, tap your feet, dance a jig - it's the Riser Ceilidh.
