New concert series begins

New concert series, Wiltshire Music Centre, Bradford on Avon.
The Wiltshire Music Centre's new concert series gets under way next weekend.
On Sunday, September 3 at 3pm, the Wiltshire and Swindon Youth Orchestra will perform Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and Dvok's Symphony No 9 from The New World. Tickets for this performance are adults £12, under 18s £7, with a £1 discount for orchestra members (limited availability).
On Friday, September 22 at 7.30pm, the City of London Sinfonia present Bizet's Carmen as a sparkling ballet score contrasts with Shostakovich's dark and brooding 14th Symphony. Tickets £21 (discounts available).
On Sunday, September 24, at 7.30pm, Doudou Cissoko, an outstanding musician from Senegal, plays soothing, beautiful music. In association with Bradford on Avon Festival. Tickets £14 (discounts available).
