Calne band The Porn Issue are launching their second EP with a gig in their home town tomorrow night, going back to their roots at the pub where things all started for them just two years ago.
The band began in November 2008 when singer/songwriter Daz Gossage started jamming and performing songs with drummer Lee Epplestone. In late April 2009, Daz and Lee recruited bassist Leo Pulvirenti to complete the line-up.
After completing the recording of their critically acclaimed debut EP Dog Bowling in July 2009, the band have now played more than 50 gigs in Wiltshire and beyond.
My Disguise features four new songs, Raucous Groove, Paupers Melody, USE, and My Disguise, and a hidden bonus track. It will sell at £3, with band T-shirts for £5.
The gig showcases three bands, with Roulette Cursade on at 7pm, followed by Dirt Royal at 8pm.
The Porn Issue are on at 9pm and after their set there will be a DJ set from Baked Beats from 10pm onwards – all for free entry.
