Lionel Richie comes face to mangled face with an unflattering likeness as comic Alan Carr recreates the famous video for the singer's hit single Hello.

The former Commodores star was crafted in clay during the promo for his 1984 chart-topper by a blind sculptor.

And during an appearance on tonight's (September 26) edition of Alan Carr Chatty Man, he is confronted by a new version complete with googly eyes and a stick-on moustache.

Earlier Alan discussed the bust made for the video and vowed: " I could make a better head than that. I'll even do it with my eyes closed.

An unimpressed Lionel conceded: "You were blind, you couldn't see a thing. It's... unique, and I will cherish it, always. I will get to take it with me right?"

Alan joked: "If I find that in a skip later, I'll be well p***ed off."

Singer Jessie J, another guest on the show, told of her disgust at the recent leaking of nude photographs of female celebrities but suggested the stars should be more careful with their pictures.

"I do think it's awful, I think it's disgusting that people find pleasure in leaking stuff, but I do think at the same time, if you're famous and you're sending naked photos, you kind of have to know that they may be put out there."
