Holly Willoughby heated up the rink on Dancing On Ice’s opening night in a dazzling dress with a plunging neckline.

The presenter, 36, looked stunning in the billowing blue Grecian-style gown, which featured a halterneck with a bow and an elegant tie at the waist.

Willoughby caused a sensation on the ITV programme back in 2008 when her revealing white dress drew complaints from viewers.

The celebrity ice skating show returned on Sunday night after a four-year hiatus.

Viewers said Willoughby looked “amazing” and “like a Disney princess” as she took to the ice alongside co-presenter Phillip Schofield.

“Holly’s dress is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!” one fan wrote on Twitter, while another said: “Okay so holly willoughby looks flawless tonight. i’m in love.”

“Holly Willoughby is a real life Disney princess,” tweeted another.

“Holly has me shook!!! Absolutely stunning and THAT DRESS,” gushed another.

The only slight quibble people had was with Willoughby’s choice of shoes.

“@hollywills looking stunning as always but did I notice flat shoes on under that lovely dress?!” asked one viewer.

Another puzzled fan wondered: “What footwear is @hollywills wearing then? Looked like hob nail boots #DancingOnIce.”

Former champion skaters Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have also returned to the revamped show.

They are swapping their previous roles as mentors and choreographers for slots on the judges’ panel, joined by series regular Jason Gardiner and newcomer Ashley Banjo.
