To get them in the mood for the auditions for this summer’s production, Shakespeare Live are reprising A Royal Murder, the murder mystery based on Macbeth which they performed very successfully at The Dell in Stratford upon Avon last summer.

To celebrate the Scottish connection, the show in Marshfield on Saturday, January 25, will have a Burns’ Night theme, with a bar, themed refreshments, and some extra entertainment thrown in.

Tickets cost £7 and are available now by calling 01225 891441.

The next day, the group holds open auditions for Macbeth, which is their choice for this summer’s production, running from July 7-12 at Lackham House.

A large cast is needed and new members are always welcome, with all ages also needed.

The auditions are at The Royal Oak in Corsham on Sunday, January 26, from 10am-12.30pm and 1.30-4pm. Anyone interested in auditioning who can't make the date can call the director in advance on 0780 500 1338. Rehearsals will take place on Sundays from mid April.
