Trowbridge Arts’ first event of 2014 is a show for all the family, Fireside Tales With Granddad, a beautiful puppet show for everyone aged four to 104.
Cuddle up around the campfire as Granddad recalls a daring escape from a hungry shark; tuck into a marshmallow or two as he attempts to make a new set of underpants for a giant and watch as the shadows between the trees unravel a tale of greedy goblins, grumpy trolls, sneaky princes and a very unusual princess.
“We are really excited to welcome Pickled Image back to Trowbridge, they have been old favourites of families over the years,” said Tracy Sullivan, director of Trowbridge Arts.
“This is an ideal introduction to the theatre for families with young children. The Arc is a lovely venue, easily accessible and intimate enough for young children to feel close enough to the action, without being frightened.”
The show is at The Arc on College Road at 6.30pm on Friday, January 24. Tickets, £8 adults, £6 children, family £25 at www.trowbridgearts.com or call 01722 321774.
