The Bradfordians are delighted to announce that their spring show is to be Anne of Green Gables.

The play depicts the delightful story of a sister and brother, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, who plan to adopt a boy from an orphanage to help on their farm.

However, they are sent a young, be-freckled, red-headed girl by mistake. Their lives will never be the same again.

The play follows Anne through her rebellious years and her transformation into a young woman., and see how her presence in the small community affects those close to her in many different ways.

Performances will be in St Margaret’s Hall, in the centre of Bradford on Avon, on March 12, 13 and 14 at 7.30pm, with a Special Mother’s Day performance on Sunday, March 15 at 2.30pm.
