FRIDAY Folk re-opens after the Christmas break tonight with Village Pump's popular open mic night at the Lamb Inn.
On February 5, they will welcome Charlie Dore with Julian Littman who promise a night of eclectic, contemporary folk as the pair swap guitars, piano, mandolin, harmonium and ukulele plus a fresh take on her iconic hit ‘Pilot of the Airwaves’.
The multi-award-winning artist returns with her new album, Milk Roulette, already collecting four star reviews from Mojo,The Guardian and featuring in The Telegraph Best Folk Albums of 2014.
Her songs have won two Ascap awards, an Ivor Novello nomination, both the Overall Grand and the Folk Prize from the International Acoustic Music Awards and in 2012 Best Album Lyrics from the Indy Acoustic Project for her album Cheapskate Lullabyes.
Tickets cost £10 at the Lamb Inn, Trowbridge.
