THANK you to our local NHS.
The NHS usually gets such a bad press we felt we needed to put the record straight and share our recent experience.
We rang Spa Medical Centre on Wednesday, November 9 at 10.30am. After seeing a GP at 12.15pm John was referred to the ESCA ward at the Royal United Hospital, Bath. He was given an appointment for Thursday, November 10 at 10.45am, was operated on at 3pm and was back home in Melksham at 10pm. How’s that for service?
The GP, the surgeon and everyone between treated us with kindness and respect and all aspects of care were explained and any questions answered with clarity.
We believe we are very lucky to have such an excellent GP and hospital service and would like to publicly say a big thank you.
