SOMEONE I know never realised their MoT ran out in August and has been driving around without being stopped or caught.
They drive across county boundaries so you have at least two police forces and their system in complete failure. They have now booked an MoT, but how many others are not checking and no longer have a valid MoT? There must be a lack of police or they are parked in the wrong places. Easy pickings in towns and main road roundabouts.
I am more concerned about accidents and insurance issues for people critically injured. Who will pay them for others not realising their MoT has run out? Technology still requires manpower but that manpower is getting less. Please can we go back to the good old-fashion constable, who you respected because he was fair yet hard.
