I WOULD just like to respond to your article in last week’s edition of the Wiltshire Times concerning the Emmaus School in Staverton near Trowbridge. How refreshing that they teach good old fashioned Christian values of decency, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and care towards others (to name just a few).
Wouldn’t it be excellent practice for all schools to adopt these values again, no matter what religion their pupils are? After all this type of respect is what so many in this country so desperately need to learn, so that we as a nation become thoughtful, kind, well mannered and unselfish again and return to the dignified race that we once were.
So well done and congratulations to Emmaus School and keep up the good work.
