ANYBODY Christmas shopping in Castle Place in December could not have failed to see Trowbridge Committee of Bath Cancer Unit Support Group together with our wonderful team of fundraisers.
Many shoppers purchased butterflies on which they could write their messages to hang on the Christmas tree which by Christmas Eve was very full.
Our sales table offered lots of bargains which were quickly snapped up and thanks to so many people who brought us additional items almost daily, we were able to maintain our stocks for the whole period.
There are so many people to thank for helping us raise the fantastic sum of £5,400. The first must be the manager Julie Davies and her security staff, without whom the event would not have been possible. We are also grateful for the support of all traders, but especially Greggs who provided coffee to helpers on some very cold December days.
Finally, a huge thank you to all our wonderful team of helpers who turned up day after day and of course the generous shoppers who put so much money in our buckets.
