IN THE news, it is thought people living near to busy roads are more likely to suffer loss of memory. I thought “traffic fumes”, then I have heard in the past of heart problems and lung problems associated with air pollution produced by motor vehicles.
There is a bonus associated with electric car development, which would help all those starving African and Middle East people desperately trying to get into Europe in search of work. Electric vehicle development would mean wind farm and nuclear plant development, charging stations, new car development running into billions of man hours – so an answer to lack of work.
All we need now is worldwide commitment. Two children to each family, then the threat of over population developing into world war will be over.
