ON Thursday last week my wife and I went to our doctors to pick up our prescriptions.
The parked cars stretched from just past the small roundabout at the junction of Wingfield Road and Brook Road all the way down past the primary school, with two little breaks for the school entrance and the doctors’ entrance.
On leaving after picking up our prescriptions, coming out of the doctors there was a white van parked on the right and cars parked on the left.
You could not see in either direction so I had to get out of the car and go into the road and hold up the traffic so that my wife could pull out of the doctors’ entrance.
It is becoming a joke. If the council does not do anything like the concrete slabs or something else, I wonder what councillors would do if they were unable to get out of their car parks at home time. It’s not what you know but who.
