I HAVE just seen the fight at the Albany Palace in Trowbridge on the internet.
You can see the war memorial in the background of one clip.
My uncle, who I never got to know because he died so young, has his name on that memorial, as are so many young men from Trowbridge who died in the First and Second World Wars.
I would imagine most of them never wanted to go away to fight.
The people who started this fight should be ashamed of themselves. They did not have to go off to war and be killed or have their lives ruined.
They have shamed Trowbridge.
I feel very sorry for the staff and anybody caught up in this. It must have been so frightening for them.
