Wurzels booked for music festival

THE Wurzels could be visiting Bradford on Avon this summer when the town's music festival takes place.
The three-day show, which has had a one-year break, will be on June 20-22 in the field behind The Beehive pub.
The organisers have provisionally booked West Country favourites The Wurzels to perform on the Friday night but also hope to attract many local bands to play throughout the weekend.
Chair of the organising committee, Sparky Bloodworth, said: "Bradford needs a great festival, something for everyone, and that's exactly what we are hoping to provide."
As well as live music throughout the weekend there will also be fair rides, circus skills, a petting corner, a beer tent and a car boot sale.
Anyone interested in performing at the event should contact Sam Keane on sl.keane@btinternet.com
