IF you're planning to enjoy the delights of the WOMAD Festival at Charlton Park, near Malmesbury, this summer, have you booked your camping pitch?

Or do you want the hard work taken out of the festival fun?

Lord Suffolk, owner of the Charlton Park and house, will be hosting the great WOMAD public and aristocracy alike in his private gardens for a unique experience.

Facilities will include Royal Maharaja Tents, each containing a double bedroom with twin beds and a children's bedroom/dressing room. The private area will feature luxury shower and toilet blocks, dedicated security and a dining area where breakfast with the daily papers and light refreshments will be served. In the evening Boutique Campers will have exclusive access to the VIP bar. Allocation will be on a first-come first-served basis, email estate.office@charltonpark.co.uk to register your interest.

WOMAD are also offering no fuss camping for the most unprepared festivalgoer. The Tangerine Field Camping has a variety of accommodation available, from two-man tents to six-people domes,caravans, tepees and yurts. This offer also provides a new sleeping bag, donated to local and national homeless charities after use, airbeds, camping stove and kettle. Booking in advance with friends will guarantee the group will be camped together.

Visit www.WOMAD.org/charltonpark for more information. Ticket prices for WOMAD are : weekend ticket: £125, £100 concs; Sunday only day ticket, £50. A Thursday camping ticket at £10 allows access to the festival site from July 24.
