KELVIN Highmore has spoken of his amazement after he was sacked as Melksham Town manager.
The ex-Conigre boss was dismissed on Saturday despite having won the Wiltshire Senior Cup with the club this season.
Highmore said: "I'm absolutely gobsmacked, but there you go."
"I've got to watch what I say because there's a lot of passion in me at the moment."
Highmore said he would prefer to wait for an official statement from the club before commenting further.
Highmore said: "Then, I'll tell it like it is."
