Police plea after assault
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Melksham on Sunday.
A woman in her 50s was walking along Church Street at about 4pm when she was attacked by a man, leaving her with minor back and leg injuries.
Her attacker is described as white and in his late 50s.
Anyone with information should contact Pc Cuthbert of Trowbridge Police on 0845 4087000.
