POLICE in Melksham have cleared up half of outstanding warrants in the town this week.
Yesterday, Melksham Neighbourhood Policing team worked with warrants enforcement officers from Chippenham magistrates' court to locate and bring to justice people with outstanding fines and those who had breached conditions set by the court.
Melksham Town Community Beat Manager PC Kevin Harmsworth said: "This is one of a continuing series of partner agency operations.
"It was successful once again. More of these operations will be conducted in the future which form part of ongoing work across Wiltshire by the warrants officers."
