An inquest is due to be opened on Monday into the death of Malcolm King, who was found dead on Stoke Hill, Coulston, between Edington and Erlestoke, near Westbury.

The local man, thought to be in his 50s, was discovered by police at about 3.30pm on Sunday August 17, with a shotgun by his side.

A passport and letter, believed to belong to the man, were discovered in a nearby car.
