A SPOT of rain didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the crowds who turned up in droves to catch a glimpse of their favourite celebrities at the Crimestoppers family fun day held at Bowood House yesterday.
International star Jason Donovan said he had jetted into the event from Majorca where his family were on holiday and flew straight back after the performance.
The crowds showed their appreciation for acts including Blazin' Squad, X Factor runner-up Ray Quinn, Kavana, tribute band Sissor Sisterz, Electric Dolls and Same Difference among others and fans clambered to get a picture with their favourite stars, as well as autographs.
Former Neighbours star Jason Donovan, who arrived with an entourage of security staff, said: "This was my first time at this venue but I love Wiltshire as I have a house on the border with Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire so I know the area."
Despite a power failure and rain on and off throughout the afternoon, spirits were not dampened and people settled on the grass on blankets and seats as they ate their lunch and watched the acts on the main stage.
